The incident occurred on Thursday, June 25, at around 11:00 a.m., in a shop on Mickiewicza Street in Bolesławiec. A 20-year-old man who had stolen alcohol stabbed a woman with a knife. (She was not a shop employee.) Fortunately, the injured woman did not suffer any more serious harm.
The suspect was arrested by Bolesławiec criminal investigators. Interestingly, he fled from the police on... a bicycle that had been stolen from outside one of the stores within the previous 24 hours.
The police are investigating all the circumstances of the case. The 20-year-old is suspected of robbery theft (the shop on Mickiewicza Street), stealing four bottles of perfume from a drugstore, and stealing the bicycle.
