Police officers from Nowogrodziec detained a 17-year-old resident of Lubań. The teenager is suspected of stealing a wallet containing documents and money. The incident occurred on Wednesday, September 23. The resident of Lubań robbed a woman who agreed to give him a lift.
It was only some time later that the victim realized she had been robbed. Based on the description provided by the woman, officers identified the perpetrator of the theft.
The police quickly found the thief and recovered the stolen property. It turned out that the 17-year-old had already come into conflict with the law. He was wanted by a residential care and education facility.
He now faces up to five years in prison.
