Officers from the Police Station in Nowogrodziec detained a man suspected of harassment, making criminal threats and damaging property. The perpetrator is a 45-year-old resident of Osiecznica Commune. “For several months, the stalker harassed his female acquaintance, sending her SMS messages containing insulting and humiliating content. In addition, the suspect made criminal threats against the woman,” explains asp. szt. Anna Kublik-Rościszewska, press officer of the County Police Headquarters in Bolesławiec.
She adds:
Based on the evidence collected, the detainee was charged with three offenses.
The court remanded the 45-year-old in temporary custody for three months. The man could face a sentence of between six months and as much as eight years in prison.
