The first crime took place last week in Iwiny. The 34-year-old resident of Warta Bolesławiecka Municipality broke into one of the stores and stole 15 bottles of alcohol from it.

The man was detained. (Officers carried out the necessary procedures with him).

Two days after the aforementioned incident, at night, the 34-year-old appeared again—and completely sober—outside the same store. This time... he damaged the building’s window with a paving stone.

The outcome? The man once again fell into the hands of the uniformed officers. He claimed that the second time, he no longer wanted to steal anything.

The resident of Warta Bolesławiecka Municipality was charged with two offenses: burglary and property damage. The man pleaded guilty. He could now face a sentence of one to ten years in prison.
