One of the students at Primary School No. 4 in Lubań may be infected with the coronavirus. The school has been closed and is being disinfected. 40 people have been placed in quarantine.

40 people—children, teachers, school employees and their families who had contact with the student suspected of being infected with the coronavirus—have been placed under quarantine by the sanitary services of Lubań County. The sanitary authority is also investigating whom else, apart from their classmates, the child may have come into contact with.
According to our information, the child has already been tested for the presence of the coronavirus.

Under the sanitary guidelines currently in force, the hospital in Bolesławiec cannot perform coronavirus tests on children. All pediatric cases involving people under 18 are to be referred to the University Clinical Hospital on Chałubińskiego Street in Wrocław. This information was confirmed by Kamil Barczyk, director of the single-name hospital in Bolesławiec.
