The incident took place during the night of May 23–24, at around 3:00 a.m., near Kraśnik Dolny (Bolesławiec municipality). The driver of the passenger car, a 19-year-old resident of Warta Bolesławiecka municipality, failed to adjust her speed to the road conditions and lost control of the vehicle. The car left the road and hit a tree.
Three teenagers were traveling in the car. Both the driver and the passengers were injured. All three were taken to hospitals.
