As announced on Polsat News Łukasz Szumowski, the health minister in Mateusz Morawiecki's government, a decision on when the obligation to wear masks in public spaces will be lifted is expected to be announced at the beginning of this week.
The problem, however, is that this may not apply to the residents of Lower Silesia. Minister Ł. Szumowski:
There are three voivodeships where the virus reproduction rate is above one. It is possible that the obligation to wear masks will have to remain there. In the rest of the voivodeships, this rate is below one, which means that the number of infections is falling.
(Quote from Polsat News).
We will return to this topic. Let us recall: Lower Silesia still ranks an unfortunate third in the country in terms of the number of coronavirus infections.
