– The artillerymen use the time of the “technical long weekend” between training activities and patrol duty at border posts to carry out servicing and maintenance of military equipment. Maintaining equipment in proper technical condition rests mainly with the user of that equipment – says Capt. Agnieszka Kozik of the 23rd Silesian Artillery Regiment.
She adds:
Maintenance of assemblies and subassemblies, replacement of oils and operating fluids, as well as the removal of faults, are some of the tasks that the regular crews of the WR-40 Langusta launchers and Dana self-propelled howitzers are able to perform.
Properly performed servicing guarantees the ability to use military equipment and armament in accordance with their intended purpose, contributing to their reliability during the subsequent stages of training carried out this year.
