Kacper Błażejowski disappeared in the evening of April 27. He was in the care of his father, Rafał B., who returned to prison because he had to serve a sentence for an offense against property. According to information provided by the police, the likely version of events is that the boy fell into the river. However, all leads are being investigated.
The most visible police activity is the search for the child in the Kwisa River and its vicinity. On Sunday, May 3, these activities are continuing.
“Since morning, divers have been checking the water near the dam in Nowogrodziec, as well as the riverbed downstream from Nowogrodziec. Additionally, two police dogs followed the riverbed, and police officers searched the area from Nowogrodziec to Parowa. We have a police drone on site checking the area from above, and the fire service is once again traveling by boat downstream along the river,” says Anna Kublik-Rościszewska, spokeswoman for the police in Bolesławiec.
Krzysztof Rutkowski’s team is working independently of the police. Krzysztof Rutkowski announces that he will pass all important information concerning the operation aimed at finding Kacperek to officers of the County Police Headquarters in Bolesławiec, the Fire Service, and the services taking part in the search.
“We saw the vehicles. I have not had any contact, and no one reported to me that people from Krzysztof Rutkowski’s office were causing any difficulties,” the spokeswoman confirms.
Rutkowski’s people are conducting searches on the river. One of the best and most dynamic RPAS-HUB companies operating drones throughout the country is providing free assistance with the search.
“Using calculations of the water’s speed, we will check important points on the river,” says Krzysztof Rutkowski. “They may be hits that can somehow be confirmed. If these activities by us and by the police do not achieve the intended result, unfortunately, we must be prepared to repeat the necessary procedures. We are giving it about another week for the body to surface. That is also quite important,” Rutkowski says.
People supporting Rutkowski’s team came from all over Poland: from Lublin, Bielsko-Biała, and Łódź. Krzysztof Rutkowski also adds that people trust him more than the police.
“This is a wonderful attitude shown by people from across the country who did not ask how much I would pay them. It is very important to me that there are people who do not want to do this for money. We are doing this entirely free of charge and without reimbursement of expenses,” says the owner of the Rutkowski Office. “In many cases, people trust the Rutkowski Office more than the police, so the flow of information is faster in many situations. What is more, when we promise a reward, we keep our promises,” Rutkowski adds.
As a reminder, the Rutkowski Office is offering a reward of PLN 50,000 for indicating where the child may be or for contributing to the child being found.
