As reported by jelonka.com:
Detective Krzysztof Rutkowski promised a €10,000 reward for anyone who provides information that will help recover PLN 200,000 stolen from an organic farm in Janice (Lwówek County) during a press conference (...).
The case became widely known when a policewoman from Jelenia Góra recovered the stolen motorcycles. The Jelenia Góra police wrote at the time:
Early in the morning on January 25, 2025, Senior Inspector Klaudia Rozbicka, deputy chief of the Municipal Police Headquarters in Jelenia Góra, demonstrated extraordinary vigilance and commitment while carrying out her police duties. On her way to work, driving along national road No. 30 from the direction of Lwówek Śląski toward Jelenia Góra, at approximately 6:55 a.m. in Siedlęcin, she noticed lights between the trees and bushes.
The surrounding darkness and the unusual position of the lights aroused the policewoman’s suspicions. Senior Inspector Rozbicka decided to stop and check whether anyone needed help or whether a road accident had occurred. Upon reaching the site, she discovered a KTM motorcycle parked in the bushes with its lights on and engine running. The vehicle had no registration plates, and there was no one nearby.
She immediately notified the duty officer at the Municipal Police Headquarters in Jelenia Góra, who sent a police patrol to the scene. During the actions, officers found another KTM motorcycle in the forest, also without registration plates.
She added:
Further actions established that both vehicles had been stolen on January 21 this year in Lwówek County. The total value of the recovered motorcycles is approximately PLN 80,000. After being secured by the police, the motorcycles were handed over to the County Police Headquarters in Lwówek Śląski, which is conducting the investigation.
The Jelenia Góra portal also reports:
The motorcycles were allegedly stolen on January 21 from the same farm from which PLN 200,000 disappeared. It happened while the owner, Ms. Patrycja, was away and not in Poland at the time. As K. Rutkowski reported, the thieves abandoned the motorcycles in the forest several days later after employees from his detective agency visited them. The detective claims that the identities of the thieves have been established and passed on by his office to police officers. They are allegedly two men from our region who have previously had conflicts with the law. They have not yet been arrested, as hard evidence of their guilt is still needed.
