On Wednesday, April 29, the 19th session of the Osiecznica Municipal Council was held. “It was a remote session, the first in the county,” says Municipal Council Chairperson Jadwiga Rybicka.

Before Wednesday’s meeting, the councilors decided to donate their May allowances to the Zakład Opieki Zdrowotnej in Bolesławiec.

What else was discussed during the session?

Municipal Head Waldemar Nalazek reported on the municipality’s situation during the pandemic. He also announced that he had decided to purchase face masks for all residents of the municipality. He thanked residents for complying with the restrictions, and the village heads and firefighters from Parowa for their great assistance in distributing the masks. He also thanked the female residents of Tomisław, Przejęsław and Ławszowa for sewing additional masks. (Those who, for whatever reason, did not receive a mask can contact their village head).

J. Rybicka adds: “At the end of the session, I thanked all medical workers in Poland, especially those from Powiatowy Szpital in Bolesławiec, for their heroic attitude and fight against COVID-19.”
