– National holidays commemorate the brightest chapters in the history of the Polish nation. The upcoming 229th anniversary of the adoption of the Constitution of 3 May recalls the greatest reform of the state system in Poland’s history. On this occasion, today we pay tribute to the authors of the Constitution of 3 May, the testament of the Polish–Lithuanian Commonwealth, built around civil rights and freedoms, tolerance, freedom of religion and peace – says Capt. Agnieszka Kozik of the 23rd Silesian Artillery Regiment in Bolesławiec.

The symbolic assembly held to mark the National Third of May Holiday was an opportunity to thank the soldiers for their responsible and often self-sacrificing service in the 23rd Artillery Regiment. Lieutenant Colonel Marek Wasielewski, the commander:

Every day, you set an example through your commitment to carrying out your duties, while your knowledge and experience contribute to the effective completion of tasks.

This year’s assembly provided an opportunity to recognize soldiers who demonstrated exceptional commitment and exemplary performance of their official duties.
