– Coronavirus tests carried out on more than 30 medical staff members of the Jelenia Góra Ambulance Service returned negative results, ruling out coronavirus infection. The Jelenia Góra Ambulance Service is operating and protecting the health and lives of the residents of the Jelenia Góra Valley – informs Michał Nowakowski, spokesman for the Marshal of the Lower Silesian Voivodeship. – The test result of the director of the Jelenia Góra Ambulance Service is also negative.
This means that Nikolaj Lambrinow – in accordance with the voivode’s decision, agreed with the marshal – is beginning to serve as director of the Provincial Hospital Center of the Jelenia Góra Valley until May 11, in order to run the hospital and combat the Covid-19 pandemic. During this time, the duties of director of the Jelenia Góra Ambulance Service will be performed by Barbara Kołtok, deputy director for economic affairs.

Testing and examination of samples collected from the staff of the Jelenia Góra Ambulance Service took place thanks to highly efficient cooperation with the Bolesławiec Ambulance Service and the medical laboratory of the Provincial Specialist Hospital on Kamieńskiego Street in Wrocław.

At the Jelenia Góra Ambulance Service, nearly 80 people were tested. We expect the remaining test results conducted by the Sanitary Inspectorate in the near future.
