The order is intended to minimise the risk of infection with SARS-CoV-2. Its implementation should be accompanied by the simultaneous use of tents provided by the State Fire Service or other available technical means.
The order requires Lower Silesian municipal and state hospitals to introduce regular body-temperature checks for hospital employees, particularly when they enter the hospital grounds. In addition, hospitals operating admissions departments or hospital emergency departments have been required to reorganise their work so as to enable the safe triage and separation of people displaying symptoms of COVID-19 from others present in admissions departments or emergency departments.
Tents have been set up near hospitals in Wrocław (WSSE on Koszarowa Street – 2 tents, USK on Borowska Street – 3 tents, DCChP – 1 tent), in Wałbrzych (3 tents), Jelenia Góra (3 tents), Legnica (2 tents), Bolesławiec (1 tent), Ząbkowice Śląskie (1 tent), Głogów (2 tents), Lubań (2 tents), Milicz (1 tent), Zgorzelec (1 tent), and at the Ambulance Service in Jelenia Góra (1 tent).
Further tents will be set up successively according to the needs of medical facilities.
