Bolesławiec traffic police stopped a passenger car for inspection. A 33-year-old Bolesławiec resident was behind the wheel.
– When checking the police systems, it turned out that the court had imposed a driving ban on the driver, valid until 2022 – says asp. szt. Anna Kublik-Rościszewska, press officer of the District Police Headquarters in Bolesławiec. – However, the vehicle should not have been on the road, as officers had previously retained its registration certificate due to its poor technical condition.
The 33-year-old faces a sentence of between three months and as much as five years in prison.
