When will the coronavirus pandemic end in Poland? Various research centers involved in forecasting are trying to answer this question. Their forecasts are more optimistic than the announcements by Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki, who expects the peak of infections in Poland in May or June.

Both the American The Institute for Health Metrics and Evaluation, which deals with global health statistics, and analysts from ExMetrix, a company involved in economic and social forecasting, claim that the peak of infections in Poland will come around 24-25 April. According to their research, by the peak of the epidemic, 9,000–10,000 people will have contracted the coronavirus in our country. There may be approximately 2,000 deaths caused by the coronavirus.

The number of infections should begin to decline slowly after the peak. After several weeks, the decline in infections should already be very noticeable. However, the easing of social restrictions and limitations will be very slow and gradual. According to optimistic scenarios, the coronavirus pandemic in Poland may end around June or July.
