Officers from the Bolesławiec police headquarters and the station in Kruszyn arrested a 39-year-old resident of the Nowogrodziec municipality. The man is suspected of breaking into an excavator’s fuel tank and stealing 300 liters of diesel fuel.
After two days, the perpetrator wanted to rob the same vehicle again, but he was unsuccessful because... there was no fuel in the tank.
What is more, the police proved that the arrested man had committed two further offenses. The 39-year-old broke into the machines at a car wash and stole 400 złoty in coins.
All the offenses took place in the second half of March in the Bolesławiec municipality.
The repeat burglar now faces a sentence of between one and as many as fifteen years in prison.
