We received a report that the Independent Public Healthcare Institution lacks personal protective equipment: masks and disinfectants. Reader:
Employees, and seniors in particular, are at increased risk of falling ill; if we do not take care of them, no one will protect them from the virus.
Robert Adaszewski, director of the Independent Public Healthcare Institution in Nowogrodziec:
The problem of obtaining basic personal protective equipment is widespread; the situation at our institution is similar to that of every institution in Poland, Europe and the world. The market for these products changed as the COVID-19 epidemic developed.
Nevertheless, we are purchasing this equipment, and it is gradually reaching us. I hope that the shipments of these products from China launched yesterday will improve the situation at our facility.
