Ministry of Health:

We have 34 new cases of coronavirus infection, confirmed by positive laboratory test results.

The confirmed cases concern:

  • 9 people from Lublin Voivodeship
  • 6 people from Silesian Voivodeship
  • 4 people from Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship
  • 3 people from Pomeranian Voivodeship
  • 3 people from Greater Poland Voivodeship
  • 3 people from Lesser Poland Voivodeship
  • 3 people from Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship
  • 1 person each from Świętokrzyskie, Podkarpackie and West Pomeranian Voivodeships.

The ministry adds:

At the same time, we regret to inform you that a 67-year-old man infected with coronavirus, who had comorbidities, died in a hospital in Koszalin. Meanwhile, a 75-year-old patient infected with coronavirus died in a hospital in Kalisz, but COVID-19 was not the direct cause of death in this case. Therefore, this patient is not included in the statistics of people who died from COVID-19.

In total, the number of people infected with coronavirus is: 1085/15 (all positive cases/of whom deceased).
