Police officers from the Bolesławiec County Police Headquarters arrested two people suspected of committing burglary. A passenger car was stolen by the criminals.

The officers arrested the suspects as they were driving away from the place where they had dismantled various parts from the stolen vehicle and then set it on fire.

When the criminals saw a police car approaching, they abandoned their vehicle and began fleeing on foot. After a short chase, the officers arrested two men.

In the criminals’ car, police officers found car parts, including a muffler, battery and windows taken from the stolen vehicle.

The perpetrators—residents of Bolesławiec County aged 25 and 37—had already installed the stolen radio in their driveway. What is more, the older of the arrested men was carrying amphetamine.

Both suspects now face a sentence of between one and as many as ten years in prison.
