Last Monday, a resident of the Lwówek Śląski municipality notified the duty officer about the theft of a compactor and a vise. He reported that the theft occurred during the night of March 15–16, 2020, from private property. The reporting person estimated the value of the losses at more than PLN 4,000.
As a result of operational activities, officers from the Criminal Division of the District Police Headquarters in Lwówek Śląski identified the perpetrator of the theft. He turned out to be a 25-year-old resident of Bolesławiec County, who confessed to committing the theft. The man was arrested on Monday (March 16). The officers returned the recovered property to its owner, while the suspect faces up to 5 years in prison.
