The incident occurred on September 28, at around 7:40 p.m. The duty officer at the Municipal Police Headquarters in Legnica received a report concerning a 20-year-old man who had allegedly been beaten and had his phone taken.

Police officers who arrived at the scene found the victim. He required assistance. He was severely shaken and had visible injuries.

He was allegedly lured to a flat

He told officers that he had managed to escape from one of the flats moments earlier. He had allegedly gone there under the pretext of talking to people he knew.

According to his account, after entering the flat he was prevented from leaving freely. He was then allegedly attacked, threatened and humiliated. The perpetrators also allegedly forced him to hand over his mobile phone.

Police said that during the incident the 20-year-old had his hair cut and was forced to engage in behavior that could endanger his health.

At one point, the man took advantage of the attackers’ momentary inattention and escaped from the flat. He then called for help.

Two adults detained

Police went to the address provided. In the flat they found a 38-year-old woman and a 44-year-old man. Both were intoxicated.

Officers secured the scene and items that could be connected with the attack. They also began proceedings aimed at establishing the exact course of events and the roles of the individuals involved.

During the investigation, police also established that a 15-year-old girl had participated in the incident.

In the case of the minor, officers from the Juvenile and Pathology Division of the Municipal Police Headquarters in Legnica carried out the necessary procedures and then submitted the materials to the family court. The District Court in Legnica ordered that the 15-year-old be sent to a probation center.

Two people remanded in custody

The court granted the prosecutor’s requests and decided to remand both suspects in temporary custody.

The offenses of which they are suspected carry a sentence of up to 25 years in prison.
