The incident occurred on Friday, March 6, before 2 p.m., on Generała Nila Street in Bolesławiec. Two vehicles collided: a DAF truck driven by a 49-year-old man and a Volkswagen Golf passenger car. The latter was driven by a 19-year-old resident of Nowogrodziec commune.
The teenager suffered serious injuries and was taken to hospital. (The incident was classified as an accident.)
It is already known that the truck driver failed to yield the right of way to the Golf. The case will probably end up in court.
