The incident occurred on Sunday (9 August) at around 6:00 p.m., near the traffic lights at the intersection of Staszica Street and Cieszkowskiego Street. The 21-year-old man attacked two people and stole their camera. Based on witnesses’ accounts, police officers obtained a description of the suspect and began searching for him. The attacker was detained quickly. When he saw a police car, the 21-year-old began to flee. The detained man had the previously stolen camera with him. The attacker faces up to 12 years in prison.
