Officers from the Traffic Division of the County Police Headquarters in Bolesławiec conducted intensified sobriety checks of drivers travelling on roads in Bolesławiec County. The officers checked the sobriety of more than 700 drivers. The tests produced negative results, meaning that everyone was sober.
Police officers from Bolesławiec remind people not to get behind the wheel after drinking alcohol. A drunk driver poses a threat to all road users. Driving while intoxicated is punishable by up to two years in prison, loss of a driving licence and financial consequences.
