Within two days, traffic police officers apprehended two drunk drivers. On February 22, on Zgorzelecka Street in Bolesławiec, officers stopped a vehicle driven by a 42-year-old man from the City of Ceramics. It turned out that the man had more than 2 per mille of alcohol in his breath. However, he did not have a driving licence. What is more, the car he was travelling in did not have a valid technical inspection.
The following day, another driver under the influence was caught in Gromadka municipality. He was slightly more sober—the test showed almost 2 per mille of alcohol in his breath. KPP:
During the conversation with the officers, the driver had trouble maintaining his balance.
The second person arrested also did not have a driving licence.
Both drivers could now face up to two years in prison and financial penalties.
