The 15th National Youth Olympiad was held last weekend (24–26 July) at the Academy of Physical Education stadium in Kraków. MKS Bolesłavia’s athletes delivered a highly successful performance at the competition. Mateusz Pawluk, Wojciech Kowalski, Patryk Pieczarka and Marcin Zgodziński won bronze in the 400-metre relay.

The Bolesłavia athletes achieved an excellent time of 3:24.49. In Bolesławiec’s history, this is the first medal won at such a high-level competition in relay events. The best athletes in Poland also included athletes from Bolesławiec: Karol Wojdyła, Aneta Bujak, Alicja Kaczmarska, Maciej Parobczak and Agnieszka Dalmata. The athletes from Bolesławiec competing in Kraków placed 23rd in Poland and third in Lower Silesia. MKS Bolesłavia competitors were also included in the 69-member Lower Silesian Under-18 Team.
