Officers from the Bolesławiec County Police Headquarters, acting on the basis of operational information, determined that a vehicle originating from a theft was parked on one of the city’s streets. The officers located a car stolen in Austria. KPP:
The recovered property was secured, and its value is estimated at nearly PLN 150,000. The car will be handed over to its owner as soon as the necessary procedures have been completed.
The police are currently investigating the circumstances of the case, including how the vehicle came to be in Bolesławiec County.
Both burglary and handling property of considerable value may be punishable by between one and as many as 10 years in prison.
