Last Sunday, criminal investigators arrested a 29-year-old resident of Legnica as a result of operational work. He had been wanted by the prosecutor’s office.
The man repeatedly drove a car despite a court-imposed ban on driving all motor vehicles. What is more, in recent months he drove while intoxicated and under the influence of drugs. (Last year, he was caught with methamphetamine during a traffic check).
Furthermore, the 29-year-old will also be held responsible for psychologically abusing his own grandmother.
At the prosecutor’s office’s request, the court remanded the Legnica resident in temporary custody for three months. The detainee now faces a sentence of between three months and as much as five years in prison.
