On January 21, 2020, an intermunicipal agreement was signed at the Shelter for Homeless People at 32d Tysiąclecia Avenue in Bolesławiec. The agreement concerns entrusting the Municipal Gmina with a public social assistance task consisting of providing shelter to homeless men.
In Bolesławiec, the local PCK branch operates the Shelter for Homeless People.
