Crime investigators arrested a 24-year-old man with no permanent address who is suspected of burglary thefts.

According to investigators, the incident occurred at the end of December last year in Jelenia Góra. The man used another person’s payment cards to pay for various purchases. He succeeded 10 times, while six attempts failed. The owner estimated the resulting losses at approximately PLN 400.

When the victim realized that someone had used his cards, he notified the police. Based on the information collected and an analysis of surveillance footage, officers identified and arrested the 24-year-old suspected of committing these acts.

Officers are investigating the circumstances of the case in detail. The homeless man could face between one and as many as ten years in prison.
