As we learned on Monday (January 13), at around 3:00 p.m., a man entered the secretariat at the town hall in Bolesławiec and said: “I came to beat the president to death”. This is the second such situation in which the same man threatened Piotr Roman. A similar incident occurred last summer. At the time, the 50-year-old told the secretary that he would come another day, but this time with a weapon, and... kill the president.
The matter was reported to law enforcement authorities, but, as the president says, after the latest threat the court merely admonished the man. In Piotr Roman’s opinion, it is necessary to consider changing the procedures for entering the president’s office. It may be necessary to install barriers and hire a security guard.
