The incident occurred on Wednesday, January 8, after 10:00 p.m. The driver of a Volkswagen passenger car, a 22-year-old man from Bolesławiec municipality, failed to stop for a roadside inspection. The officers began a pursuit.
It ended on Rzemieślnicza Street, where the young fugitive damaged the façade of one of the buildings.
The 22-year-old was arrested. It turned out that his car was not authorised for road use.
The man’s driving licence was also confiscated. He could now face between three months and as much as five years in prison.
