Officers from the Municipal Police Headquarters stopped an Opel driver for a traffic check in Legnica. It turned out that the man was subject to a court ban on driving any motor vehicles.
However, this was not the end of the irresponsible driver's problems. It emerged that the 31-year-old had got behind the wheel under the influence of drugs.
What's more, the suspect was travelling with a passenger who was found by police to have a zip-lock bag containing amphetamine.
Both men will answer for their actions before the court. The driver faces between three months and five years in prison. The passenger, meanwhile, could be jailed for up to three years.
