On December 1, the Police Station in Bogatynia was notified of the theft of an Audi vehicle. The car had been parked at one of the city's petrol stations.
Detectives from Bogatynia, working together with officers from the Zgorzelec “NYSA” group, obtained information about where the vehicle was being stored. The officers:
The actions taken and procedures carried out led to the recovery of the vehicle and the arrest of two men suspected of being connected with the theft.
The 21-year-old arrested was charged with burglary, an offense punishable by one to ten years in prison. The second detainee, aged 23, will answer for helping to conceal the car. He could face up to five years behind bars.
