Police arrived at the scene. After questioning an employee, the dog was taken to the Amicus Veterinary Clinic of Agnieszka Rosłońska.
“The dog is middle-aged and is doing quite well,” the clinic’s owner told us. “There is nothing wrong with him. Unfortunately, he did not have a microchip. He will probably go to a shelter after the holidays, like all homeless dogs whose owners could not be found.”
We remind you that abandoning an animal, particularly a dog or cat, by its owner or by another person entrusted with the animal’s care is punishable in Poland. Under the law, abandoning a dog or cat constitutes animal cruelty. Such an act is punishable by a fine, restriction of liberty and, in justified cases, imprisonment.

The abandoned dog was noticed by a store employee, who took care of the animal and sent us a photo with the information that the dog had been thrown out by opening the car door. We send our warm regards to the gentleman.
