The incident occurred on Monday, 16 December, before 8:00 a.m., near the village of Wierzbowa (Gromadka commune). The driver of a Peugeot passenger car, a 30-year-old woman from Bolesławiec, failed to adjust her speed to the road conditions, lost control of the vehicle, veered off the road and ended up in a ditch.
The woman suffered minor injuries. She was taken to hospital for examinations.
Officers appeal for caution and prudence on the roads.
Among others, firefighters from Wierzbowa and Bolesławiec took part in the operation.
