After receiving a report of a burglary theft that recently took place in Legnica, Legnica police officers carried out the necessary actions to establish the perpetrator’s identity. During the investigation, they secured traces and evidence.
Based on the evidence collected, officers from the Municipal Police Headquarters’ Department for Combating Property Crime determined that the perpetrator of the aforementioned crime was a 25-year-old resident of Legnica.
After smashing the window in the vehicle’s door, the man stole power tools from inside. The losses he caused amounted to more than PLN 5,000.
It turned out that the 25-year-old suspect is currently in prison, serving a sentence for similar offenses.
The Legnica resident has already been charged with new offenses. He confessed to the crime. He could now face an additional prison sentence of between one and fifteen years.
