The incident occurred on Monday, December 9, before noon, in Milików (Nowogrodziec municipality). The moped rider lost control of the vehicle on a bend in the road and collided with a car coming from the opposite direction.
Fortunately, the rider of the two-wheeler did not suffer any serious injuries. As it turned out, the man was drunk. He had more than one per mille of alcohol in his system.
The moped rider was detained. He could now face up to two years in prison.
