Bolesławiec traffic police stopped a passenger car for inspection on one of the city’s streets because it had a smashed window. A 23-year-old man was behind the wheel and, as it turned out, he was completely drunk. The test showed more than 2 parts per thousand of alcohol in his exhaled air.
What is more, it emerged that the car driven by the suspect had neither a valid technical inspection nor the mandatory insurance.
The 23-year-old resident of Bolesławiec now faces up to 2 years in prison, the loss of his driving licence and financial consequences.
