Officers from the Criminal Division of the Bolesławiec District Police Headquarters caught a 32-year-old man in the act. As a result of operational activities, police surprised the suspect at the crime scene.

Police found fuel containers and hoses in the perpetrator’s car.

The suspect was charged with attempted burglary and theft. He will also be held responsible for violating a court-imposed driving ban. The man is prohibited from driving a car until 2020.

The perpetrator faces up to 10 years in prison.
