Jelenia Góra police officers received information that a 31-year-old city resident might have drugs at home. The information was soon confirmed.

During the operation, officers seized nearly 2,000 retail portions of marijuana. It was hidden in a kitchen cupboard.

The officers also determined that the 31-year-old had committed a burglary at a garage in November. He stole power tools.

Police are currently clarifying all the circumstances of the case in detail: they are checking the origin of the seized narcotic substances and whether the man was involved in distributing them.

The Jelenia Góra resident was detained in police custody. He could face up to 10 years behind bars.
