The first meeting with the American soldiers who will be stationed in the Bolesławiec barracks over the coming months was intended to discuss future cooperation in the most important areas of operations, including joint training and the exchange of experience.
The meeting began with introductions of the personnel of both units, after which staff officers presented the most important information concerning the main areas of training activity and the tasks scheduled to be carried out by both units in the coming months.
After discussing the possibilities of using the logistical infrastructure and training facilities in training activities, the commander of the 23rd Artillery Regiment, Col. Grzegorz Potrzuski, and the commander of the 8th Engineer Battalion, Lt. Col. Arlo Reese, agreed on the priority areas of joint training activity.
