The incident took place during the night of 6–7 November. Someone probably set fire to the tyres in a field near Czerna (Nowogrodziec gmina) again. Why do we write “set fire”? Because tyres simply cannot spontaneously combust.
The fire was extinguished by volunteer firefighters from Czerna and Wykroty. The operation lasted 2.5 hours. Fortunately, no one was hurt.
What is worrying is that this is another such incident in recent times. In August last year, we reported twice on tyre fires at this location.
We hope that if some idiot is deliberately setting fire to these tyres, he will be arrested soon. Preferably before anyone gets hurt.
