The incident occurred on All Saints’ Eve, after 6:00 p.m., at the Mrówka store in Bolesławiec. Three suspects, aged 19, 21 and 22, tried to steal angle grinders worth more than PLN 500. (All of them live in Bolesławiec County.)
The would-be thieves were detained. It emerged that the 19-year-old was wanted by the District Court in Oleśnica, as he had to serve a six-month prison sentence. The young man has already been taken to the detention centre in Jelenia Góra.
The 19-year-old’s accomplices now face up to five years in prison.
