Officers from traffic units in Bolesławiec, Wrocław, Jelenia Góra and Zgorzelec, acting as part of the Lower Silesian SPEED group, checked in our county whether drivers were complying with traffic regulations.

The result? Three drivers exceeded the speed limit by more than 50 km/h and lost their driving licences for three months. (In total, there were as many as 46 drivers who exceeded the speed limit.)

Moreover, four vehicle registration certificates were seized and more than sixty traffic offences were detected.

KPP Bolesławiec:

Police remind drivers that travelling at high speed always poses a threat both to people travelling in the speeding vehicle and to other road users.

Speed is, after all, a key factor affecting the risk of road accidents; it is also decisive for the type and extent of injuries suffered by those involved in road incidents.
