District police officers from the Bolesławiec County Police Headquarters spotted a young woman on one of the city’s streets who suddenly changed direction and quickened her pace when she saw a police car.
During the 20-year-old’s inspection, the officers detected the characteristic smell of marijuana. The woman admitted that she was carrying drugs and voluntarily handed over a bag containing a prohibited substance. (As it turned out, it contained more than 30 retail portions of the intoxicating substance).
The young woman was arrested and has already been charged. She could now face up to three years in prison.
