This year, the teachers from Municipal Kindergarten No. 3 made sure that the children would not be bored. Thanks to cooperation with the police command in Bolesławiec, they organized an educational session, “A Kindergarten Child Knows the Rules of the Road.” The session took place in the “Road Traffic Town” on Bielska Street.

For the children from the kindergarten on Dolne Młyny Street, it was a trip to the other end of the city. An amazing Ms. Ania Kublik-Rościszewska, the command’s spokesperson, was waiting for them there, together with three police officers. The children had the opportunity to learn and reinforce the rules of safe road use. They viewed and sat inside a police car. Thanks to the help of the parents, who became involved in organizing this special event, scooters and bicycles that the children brought from home were transported and delivered to the town.

The children could practise what they had learned and freely use the intersections and roundabouts located in the Road Traffic Town. There was plenty of joy, especially when the police mascot, Commissioner Lion, appeared in the square and hugged every child. This day will certainly remain in the memories of the youngest road users for a long time. It is good that sometimes useful and valuable activities can be combined with amazing fun and enjoyable play.
