The incident took place in Prochowice. Dissatisfied with his meeting with his girlfriend, the 17-year-old decided to take out his anger on... a bench. The aggressor kicked it several times, breaking the wooden structure, and then left the scene.
The losses were estimated at nearly PLN 560.
Alerted officers from the Property Crime Division of the Municipal Police Headquarters determined who was suspected of the act. The vandal turned out to be a 17-year-old resident of the Prochowice municipality. Under the law, he will stand trial as an adult.
The frustrated teenager could spend up to five years behind bars. He will also have to repair the damage.
