Road traffic officers recorded offences committed by the driver of a Volkswagen Golf on 8 September, after 11:17 p.m., on Wrocławska Street in Jelenia Góra. The driver, a 26-year-old resident of Jelenia Góra County, overtook another vehicle at a marked pedestrian crossing over double solid lines and exceeded the speed limit in a built-up area.

The speed meter showed that, in an area with a speed limit of 60 km/h, the driver was travelling at 134 km/h.

Police stopped the road pirate for a traffic check. The man lost his driving licence for three months. He was also fined PLN 1,000 and received 25 penalty points.
